Why Camp Ramah?

A Camp Experience That Grows With Your Child

Camp Ramah offers a developmentally thoughtful Jewish overnight camp experience for campers entering grades 2–11. Whether it’s a first time away from home or a return to a place that already feels familiar, Ramah meets each camper where they are and helps them grow.

At Ramah, campers:

  • Build confidence and independence at their own pace
  • Form deep, lasting friendships
  • Experience joyful, immersive Jewish life
  • Feel supported by caring counselors who know them well

A Truly Screen‑Free Summer (For All Ages)

No phones. No notifications. No pressure.

Ramah offers a screen‑free environment where campers are fully present—talking face‑to‑face, laughing together, singing on Shabbat, and discovering who they are without constant digital noise.

Parents consistently tell us that this unplugged experience leads to:

  • Increased confidence
  • Stronger social skills
  • Happier, more grounded kids

Jewish Life That Feels Real

At Ramah, Judaism isn’t something you study—it’s something you live.

From joyful Kabbalat Shabbat services to hands‑on learning and meaningful values woven into daily life, campers experience Jewish community as something vibrant, welcoming, and deeply personal.

For Orange County Families

With expanded tuition assistance now available, this is a meaningful opportunity to begin—or continue—your family’s Ramah journey. Whether your child is just starting out or returning to a place that already feels like home, we’d love to help you take the next step.
