We are excited to bring both a Taste of Ramah and the Spirit of Ramah to your home for five weeks this summer! We have created two different styles of “camp” to meet families’ differing needs – but don’t feel limited, we’d love to see you at both!
We are offering all of our summer programming at NO COST to families as we want to make sure that you and your children find a way to have a little Ramah in your home this kayitz.

Our Ta’am Ramah (Taste of Ramah) activities are one-time, drop-in options for the whole community, which are planned on Tuesdays and Fridays for 5 weeks.
For campers looking for a more immersive experience, we are offering Ruach Ramah (Spirit of Ramah), which meets 6 times over two weeks (July 6th-July 17th) for 2 hours of programming each time in smaller, “virtual bunk” groupings by age.

Virtual Camp FAQ
We would love for siblings, friends, and future Ramahniks of all ages to join us for our Ta’am Ramah programs on Tuesdays and Fridays. Our Ruach Ramah two-week mini-camp is for our previously enrolled 2020 Gesher through Machon campers.
Pre-registration is not required for our Ta’am Ramah community-wide events. You will receive a weekly email with Zoom links to all Ta’am Ramah events. We hope you’ll add the dates to your calendar and join us when you can.
Pre-registration is required for our Ruach Ramah (two-week mini-camp) and is due by June 18th. We ask that registration represents a commitment to attend all six sessions (with reasonable exceptions) so that we can foster a sense of community in the groups and so our staff can plan accordingly.
Our rashei edah (unit heads) will oversee different grade level programming, just as they would be doing at camp. These are experienced members of our summer staff.
Our programs will be staffed by madrichim (counselors) and moomchim (specialists) who will be assigned to different edot (age groups).
Staff participating in all virtual programming will receive training prior to the launch of the program. All staff were previously hired as part of our Camp Ramah staff.
Our programming will include both first and second session campers together. It will be a great time to see old camp friends and to meet new faces. Your child should encourage their friends to join!
Our virtual summer experiences will be offered at NO COST to families. We hope that you and your campers enjoy the activities and feel a taste of the Ramah ruach (spirit) in your home this summer.

The Machon track is designed to give a taste of some key moments of a camper’s final summer, plus opportunities to support Ta’am Ramah events for the greater community, and spend time with tzevet (staff) from last year. Final plans will be determined once registration is complete and we know the total number of participants.
At this time, we do not have any scheduled in-person events for the summer. When we are permitted and feel we can do so safely, we will look to find ways to gather our community together, whether that be later in the summer or throughout the year. We will keep you posted as we genuinely can’t wait to welcome our community back to Ojai!

Our Ta’am Ramah and Ruach Ramah are great ways for Ramahniks to connect with their camp friends on-line and experience new activities together. Both programs will group kids by age, so they will have an opportunity to be with old friends and to meet new faces. We will be holding Edah 2019 reunions during the week of June 22nd.
