Shalom Giborei Families,
Bruchim Habaim to Kayitz 2025! We are so thrilled to have your incredible chanichim (campers) here with us at Ramah. The energy in Giborei Yisrael has been amazing from the moment the buses rolled in. We’ve spent this first week settling into our tzrifim (bunks), getting to know one another, and jumping right into our chuggim (electives). Whether it’s creating masterpieces in omanut (art), flipping in circus, dancing in rikkud, or whipping up delicious treats in bishul (cooking), the Giborei chanichim have shown so much enthusiasm, curiosity, and joy. It’s already clear that this is going to be an unforgettable summer.
We’re especially looking forward to our first Shabbat together as an edah (age group). There’s something so special about slowing down after a full week, singing together, and celebrating as a community. We’ve been learning some Shabbat zemirot (songs) and talking about what makes Shabbat at camp feel magical—and we can’t wait to experience it together.
Thank you for sharing your kids with us. We feel so lucky to be part of their journey this summer, and we can’t wait for all the adventures ahead.
Shabbat Shalom,
Jonathan Cosgrove, Rosh Giborei Yisrael
