Both during Machzor Alef and Machzor Bet, we have invited up a number of specialists and experts to run unique activities for our chanichim. We always seek to explore a teaching of our sages within a fun, action-oriented scenario that keeps the whole group engaged, while producing a completed video they can watch at the end of our class.
We’ve done many chase scenes based on catching a thief or returning a lost object. This year we introduced a new scenario in which a sole survivor saves the camp from a zombie apocalypse with a bracha for revivifying the dead.
We aim to get everyone participating and invested in the process of creation and collaboration, and they love seeing themselves on screen as soon as the shooting ends and I quickly cut it together.
